My husband and I lived in Russia during a time of great struggles to find food and necessities like toilet paper and medicine. So we know a little bit about what the people of Ukraine are suffering right now.
In my frustration for what is happening, I painted a sunflower–the national flower of Ukraine. I offer it as a thank you to everyone who donates $25 or more to an effort to help the everyday people of Ukraine.
Many organizations and people are working hard to help the Ukrainians still in their country and those who now have refugee status. Please be generous. I don’t have a specific charity I am working with but we have vetted these charities and efforts.
ToUkraineWithLove Transportation Project 501(c)(3) transporting refugees from recently freed territories and delivering medical supplies, drones and humanitarian aid to Ukrainian communities.
André Polonski delivering food to invalids and families in Kharkov. He feeds around 500 people a day. Check him out on Instagram @andrepolonski.
LDS Humanitarian Fund helping refugees in Poland and Ukraine (put “Ukraine” in the comments)
I receive no donations. The sunflower is my gift to you for your donation.
Thank you so much for the donation you made to an organization helping Ukraine. Your Sunflower will be sent shortly. Please share this effort with others. FLOWER POWER is real.
